I would like to wish all of our families and employees a happy and safe holiday season. Enjoy the time that you are able to spend with others…..time spent with others is truly what makes this time of year special.

Kids Network has recently completed distribution of food products generously donated as a result of our Holiday Season Food Drive. This year’s campaign was highly successful. We collected nearly 6600 food items from our 25 Kids Network locations. This annual campaign is focused on assisting families in the Millard area.

Reagan Kids Network collected the greatest number of items…..Reagan families donated over 900 food items! Abbott, Montclair, Neihardt, Sandoz, Upchurch and Wheeler Kids Network locations were also very instrumental in our success, each contributing over 500 items to our campaign. Thanks to all of our families from each of our locations that contributed to the 2009 Holiday Season Food Drive. Your generosity has made a positive impact upon many families of our community.

Success!

Our newly formed Parent Advisory Committee has been working hard with Mrs. Mazur and I to work on our second fundraiser for the school year. Each classroom was given a theme, and parents from each classroom donated items that correlated with the theme.

We had 17 wonderful baskets with great items and yummy treats. It seemed the most popular baskets were the Spa, Family Night, Italian, and Wine & Cheese. The baskets were auctioned off through a silent auction last week. We are thankful to all of our families who donated items, and our Parent Committee who helped make this possible. We are pleased to announce that we raised $1075.00. Proceeds from the baskets will enable us to purchase curriculum enhancing materials.
